I love Cupcakes

Sorry not been up to blogging much lately been a hard time lately with my father having major operation and visiting hospital over past week anyway today I made a simple card with color core card and embossing folder.  It is for a  friend who stepped into the breach on my last event and went and bought me lots of cakes and cupcakes as the lady who was making them could not come at last minute.

The Sale:)

My sale went ok but think the heat wave put people off somewhat.
I didn't sell many cards but I did get a couple of new Neways customer so that was good.
And my friends had their nails done and some a massage.
It was a long day and I was on the go from 10am till 7pm phew!

Just got today to finish preparing for my sale.  Been hectic as had relatives over this week.
It is forecast hottest day of year tomorrow so hope not everyone will be at the beach!

Busy

Sorry not been blogging much with one and another not had time, energy or motivation. Had a nice holiday in Wales And busy organising for my sale October only 2 weeks away Am thinking card kits, calendars as an extra to cards which I have plenty of!

New storage

I got a new storage unit from Gumtree it's an ikea one and was only £25 inc delivery and it's full already I put my scrapbook albums in the cupboards below and also photo albums and then in the drop down bit I put stationary So bit by bit does it......

Home Sale

My mum's friend had a home sale she sells hand bags and jewellery and the room was full as you can see

But she managed to squeeze me in the doorway with my cards

I sold quite a few cards but as usual spent more than I took and came home with 3 necklaces and a hand bag!

An Inspiration Lady

I bought some cards from a friend in the USA called Dorcas, I have seen some of her cards before but these are just unbelievable so I had to show them off to you.  My SIL is from the US and she got to visit Dorcas recently and bought me some of the cards home and I was like WOW, the detail on them is stunning you have to see them to believe it.  I only wish I was half as good as she is, oh well something to aim for.

Sympathy card

We had some sad news at the weekend, a friends son died suddenly I made this card for them.

I used my cuttlebug to emboss the border

I attached 3d decoupage rose

and some peel-offs to add some detail

Really useful boxes

I have filled 2 of my really useful boxes finally the ones with the 9 small drawers.

It is perfect for those little bits like banners, tags etc so it solves the problem of wading through a drawer to find what you want.  I filled the other with packs of brads and quicklets and labelled them so now I don't need to go through the whole box to find what I want anymore!

Any ideas for storing bigger die-cuts?

Also how does anyone sort their cuttlebug folders please?

Really useful boxes

I got two of those really useful boxes they were on offer at Asda and I can't resist offers on storage at the moment!
I was thinking I would use them for brads/quicklets they are great I got the ones with 9 boxes I just like sturdy storage I was thinking the other might be good for die-cuts to sort them into shapes as I have them all in a huge box at the moment which is not easy to access

Craft Storage Help needed

For those who have their own craft room what do you use for storage, I am looking for better ideas.
I noticed that some like the Ikea billy bookcases and some the expedit ones which do you like?

Craft Clear-out

I am selling some craft stuff rubber stamps, threads, pens and more that I no longer need on ebay ID simplycardz and also my site n the second hand section it was a hard decision to think what I did not need as I think I need them all but then I figured if I hadn't used them inn ages then it was just taking up space.  Part of the never-ending decluttering process!
